Free OH CDL School Bus Practice Test 2025

The weather in Ohio can be challenging for drivers, especially during the winter months when snow and icy conditions are common. Whether you’re driving on Interstate 70 or on minor rural roads, chances are you’ll encounter these hazardous conditions. Accidents are more likely to happen, and you must be cautious. While some people might think twice before getting behind the wheel, school bus drivers have a duty to fulfill. They are trained professionals who have mastered the controls of their vehicles, offering safe transport for children to and from school.

To become a school bus driver, one must complete the Ohio Preservice School Bus Driver Training program. It consists of both classroom instruction and behind-the-wheel training, focusing on safety practices, handling various situations and understanding the laws related to school buses. After completing this program, aspiring school bus drivers must obtain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) by passing a general knowledge test and a skills test. Once you have successfully obtained your CDL, you can apply for a School Bus (S) endorsement, which is granted after passing a knowledge exam and a skills test in a school bus (if you haven’t yet done so for your CDL).

If this process seems overwhelming, we recommend breaking it down into smaller steps. You can only achieve your goals by planning every move in advance. The first step is the most difficult to take, and in this context, it is represented by the learning phase. Weeks before you show up for the knowledge exam, you’ll start studying the various aspects of commercial driving, including the safe operation of school buses.

The official 2025 CDL manual (Ohio CDL Handbook 2025) contains essential information which helps in building a foundation for your commercial driving career. However, most students find the manual difficult to study, so they resort to other online resources in order to increase their chances of passing the knowledge exam.

Our CDL School Bus practice tests are specific to Ohio, and each one contains 20 questions. Updated for January 2025, these tests create a learning environment where aspiring school bus drivers can learn more about this subject. Discover the numerous features and use them to your advantage. There’s no time limit, so you can take your time, moving at your desired pace.
